The new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 processor, codenamed Gorgon Halo, features 16 Zen 5 cores and 40 RDNA 3.5-based compute units. The integrated Radeon 8065S graphics core reaches clock speeds of up to 3.0 GHz, while the processor itself hits 5.2 GHz. The chip supports LPDDR5X-8533 memory with a bandwidth of 273 GB/s.

In testing with the FEVM FAEX2 mini-PC, the Radeon 8065S achieved 133 FPS in Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p Ultra settings, trailing the GeForce RTX 5060, which reached 142 FPS. In Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, the new chip delivered 104 FPS, compared to 109 FPS for the RTX 5060. Performance gains over the predecessor, the Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 395, reach up to 41% in specific titles.

Additional testing by ETA PRIME on the GMKtec EVO-X5 Pro with a 120W power limit showed 69 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p using FSR 4.1. Synthetic benchmarks indicate a 3.4% to 11.8% performance increase over previous-generation systems. Geekbench 7 results show a 9.3% improvement in single-core and 12.1% in multi-core performance.

The systems support up to 192 GB of unified memory. While gaming performance is significant, the hardware is primarily positioned for local AI model execution, with prices for these mini-PCs reaching approximately $7000.
