Hardware leaker Kepler_L2 suggests that AMD may introduce its first RDNA 5 graphics cards in the second half of 2027. While a debut at Computex in June 2027 is considered the earliest possibility, the official launch is expected to occur later that year.

The rollout of the full product lineup might be delayed until 2028, placing it in direct competition with Nvidia's next-generation consumer offerings. Reports indicate that an initial RDNA 5 GPU, codenamed AT2, could be the first to reach the market.

Speculation regarding the AT2 model suggests a range of 40 to 70 compute units. However, these figures remain unverified by AMD, and the company has not yet disclosed official technical specifications, naming conventions, or architecture details for the RDNA 5 series.

Regarding memory, the leaker dismissed claims that next-generation consumer cards will utilize 4GB GDDR7 memory chips. The final total video memory capacity remains uncertain, as it depends on chip density, the number of modules, and the specific design of each graphics card.
