According to industry insider Kepler_L2, AMD is unlikely to unveil its next-generation graphics cards before the Computex 2027 exhibition. Most reports suggest that the official announcement will likely occur in the second half of 2027, marking a significant delay in the product roadmap.
Despite the general shift toward a 2028 release for most next-generation hardware from both AMD and Nvidia, the company plans a specific exception. AMD intends to launch a mid-range graphics card based on the AT2 GPU sometime next year, potentially standing as the only new-generation offering for several months.
While the initial launch may focus on a single GPU architecture, there is a possibility that AMD could introduce two distinct models based on the AT2 chip. Furthermore, the company might choose to announce its broader product lineup alongside the AT2 during the 2027 window, though details remain speculative.
