AMD has officially joined the trillion-dollar club, marking a historic milestone for the semiconductor company. The surge in market valuation followed a sharp increase in share price, which climbed by 9% during the initial hours of Monday trading. This performance pushed the company's total market capitalization past the $1 trillion threshold for the first time.

The recent rally has been significant, with AMD shares gaining approximately 29% over the past month. Notably, 21% of this growth occurred within the last five trading days. Despite the record-breaking achievement, the stock experienced volatility shortly after reaching the milestone, causing the valuation to fluctuate around the $1 trillion mark throughout the session.

AMD is now among fewer than twenty global companies to have ever reached a trillion-dollar valuation. The list includes industry giants such as Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Broadcom, Micron, and SK hynix. AMD has surpassed Intel in this regard, as Intel currently holds a market capitalization of approximately $648 billion.

Intel has also seen substantial growth in its stock value, rising by about 37% over the last month and 25% over the past five days. On Monday morning, Intel shares increased by approximately 13%. Despite this rapid recovery, Intel remains behind AMD in total market valuation, as the latter continues to solidify its position among the most valuable technology firms in the world.
