The AMD BC-250 motherboard, which utilizes the same chip found in the PlayStation 5, has received support for FSR 4.1.1. This development was spearheaded by an enthusiast known as daniel-h-0, who has been working on the project for some time.
To enable the feature, users must replace the original library file with a modified version or utilize OptiScaler. The developer recommends that users limit their gaming resolution to 1440p, noting that the overall performance of the hardware is not suited for higher settings.
The board includes a processor, GPU, and 16 GB of RAM. While the price has recently increased, it still retails for between $200 and $250. Users must independently source or construct a chassis and cooling system for the unit.
Recent efforts have also focused on unlocking all GPU blocks on the board, although the functionality of these blocks is not guaranteed. The project remains a community-driven initiative aimed at optimizing the hardware for modern gaming tasks.
