Amazon has updated its Kindle lineup, including the base Kindle, Paperwhite, and Colorsoft models. The new devices are one millimeter thinner, feature a 30 percent faster book-opening speed, and have relocated power buttons to the right edge. All models now include user-replaceable batteries to comply with EU regulations.

The base Kindle starts at $149.99 with 16GB of storage and lockscreen ads. An aluminum version is available for $189.99, offering 32GB of storage and no ads. Users can also purchase a folio case for $49.99 that attaches magnetically to the aluminum model.

New Signature Edition versions of the Paperwhite and Colorsoft are available in aluminum for $249.99 and $319.99. These devices feature pogo pins for compatibility with a $79.99 magnetic case that adds physical page-turn buttons. A dedicated charging dock for these models costs $59.99.

Amazon also introduced the Kindle Click, a $34.99 Bluetooth remote for page turning and brightness adjustment. The remote is compatible with Kindle devices released in 2024 or later and charges via USB-C. Additionally, the company launched a new Fire TV Stick 4K capable of drawing power directly from a television USB port.
