Amazon is preparing the 12th generation Kindle, expected to launch in 2026. According to leaked renders shared by WinFuture, the device will be the first in the series to feature an E-Ink screen with rounded corners, moving away from the traditional sharp-edged design.

The power button has been relocated from the bottom of the device to the upper right side, a change intended to improve ergonomics for one-handed use. Reports suggest the display might be installed in two ways: either deeply embedded or flush with the outer casing, potentially indicating different model tiers.

The upcoming Kindle will be available in several colors, including black, green, light blue, and purple. Amazon also plans to release a dedicated Kindle for Kids version, which will include a protective case and an extended warranty period.

Official pricing and detailed technical specifications for both the standard and children's versions remain undisclosed. The current information is based on marketing materials, and final product details may still be subject to change.
