Amazon is preparing an updated version of the Fire TV Stick 4K, with promotional images of the device appearing online. The new model features a more compact, angular design compared to the rounded shape of its predecessor. The device will continue to connect directly to the HDMI port of a television.
The remote control has undergone a redesign, moving from a curved shape to a flat construction. The Alexa voice control button has been relocated to the top right corner. The central Home button now includes an animation and backlight feature designed to indicate the status of ongoing tasks or actions.
The updated remote retains dedicated buttons for Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+. Additionally, Amazon has added new buttons for Favorites, Settings, and quick channel switching. Official technical specifications and the release date for the 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K remain undisclosed.
