Amazon has unveiled the Kindle Click, a Bluetooth-enabled remote control priced at $34.99. The device allows users to turn pages on their e-readers without physical interaction with the screen. It is intended for use in scenarios where reaching for the device is inconvenient, such as reading in bed or while using a treadmill.

The accessory is compatible with all newly released Kindle models, as well as devices launched by the company from 2024 onwards. This launch marks Amazon's entry into the market for dedicated page-turning remotes, competing with existing third-party solutions and products from rivals like Rakuten Kobo, which offers a similar remote for $29.99.

Alongside the remote, Amazon introduced a new lineup of Kindle devices featuring thinner designs and a display that performs page turns 30% faster than previous versions. The company also expanded its accessory ecosystem with a magnetic cover equipped with physical page-turn buttons and a dedicated charging dock for the Paperwhite Signature and Colorsoft Signature editions.
