Amazon has updated its Kindle lineup, introducing the 2026 models including the Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, and the new Kindle Colorsoft. The devices feature a flush-front screen design and a new reverse-stacked display structure, which reconfigures internal layers to reduce thickness and weight.

The 6-inch Kindle comes with 16GB of storage and a battery life of up to 6 weeks, with a 30% faster page-turn speed. It is priced at $149.99. A 32GB aluminum version is also available for $189.99, featuring an 80% recycled aluminum back in two color options.

The Kindle Paperwhite features an oxide thin-film transistor backplane for higher contrast, adjustable warm light, and waterproofing. The 16GB model starts at $199.99, while the 32GB Signature Edition, which includes a magnetic charging dock and auto-adjusting front light, costs $249.99.

The Kindle Colorsoft introduces a color display and is priced at $289.99 for the 16GB model, with a Signature Edition available for $319.99. Amazon also launched kids' versions of these devices, which include a 12-month subscription to Amazon Kids+.

New accessories are available, including the Kindle Click Bluetooth remote for $34.99, a cover for $79.99, and a charging dock for $59.99. The standard Kindle is currently on sale, while the Paperwhite and Colorsoft models are available for pre-order.
