The 2026 Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K model features a redesigned chassis, moving away from rounded edges to a more compact, boxy form factor. Despite the change in shape, the device retains its direct HDMI plug-in design and has a slightly smaller overall volume compared to its predecessor.
The updated remote control also sees significant changes, including a new flat top design. The Alexa voice button has been relocated to the top right corner. A notable addition is the backlit Home button, which now features animations to indicate task or activity status.
Functionality has been expanded with new dedicated buttons for Favorites, Settings, and quick channel switching. The remote continues to include shortcut buttons for major streaming platforms, such as Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+.
