Amazon is currently offering a $200 discount on the 2026 MacBook Air models equipped with the M5 chip. This promotion effectively reverses the price increase implemented by Apple in June. The base model now starts at $1,099.
The entry-level configuration features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The device is powered by the M5 chip, which includes a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 via the N1 wireless chip.
Additional hardware specifications are available at discounted rates. A model with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD is priced at $1,299, while the top-tier version with 24GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD is available for $1,599. These laptops also include a 12MP Center Stage camera and Touch ID.
The discounted laptops are available in several color options, including Sky Blue, Starlight, and Silver. Availability for specific configurations, such as the Sky Blue entry-level model, is currently limited.
