While the broader cryptocurrency market experienced a slight decline in early October, four specific assets—Pump.fun, Aave, Worldcoin, and Sky—recorded double-digit growth. According to data from Santiment, these price movements were largely driven by project-specific developments, including token buybacks and increased institutional interest.

Aave saw a 20% increase in value, supported by the protocol reaching $1 billion in user deposits. The platform also launched V4 on Arc and Base in September, enabling non-US users to borrow USDC against tokenized US stocks. Meanwhile, Pump.fun surged 30% over the week, fueled by a strategy of using half of its net protocol revenue for token buybacks and burns, with daily purchases exceeding $1 million.

The token Sky rose 14% following increased institutional activity. Galaxy Digital added $100 million of the sUSDS savings token to its treasury and approved the asset as collateral for its institutional trading operations. Additionally, the firm purchased an undisclosed amount of SKY tokens to bolster its position.

In contrast, other assets faced downward pressure. Quant dropped 7% on Friday due to profit-taking after a significant rally. Despite a 32% decline from its late September peak, the token remains up 152% over the past seven days, trading at $252.55. Market analysts are now monitoring performance to determine if the current selloff will persist.
