ALSO, a spin-off of Rivian, has launched the Test Spin Fall Tour, a nationwide demo program for its TM-B electric bikes. The tour runs from September through November and includes stops in cities such as Portland, Philadelphia, Boston, and Detroit.

Despite the demo tour, customers who pre-ordered the $4,500 Launch Edition bikes nearly a year ago are still awaiting delivery. Although the company stated that shipping began earlier this month, many early reservation holders report they have not received delivery dates.

Saul Leiken, Head of Product at ALSO, attributed the delays to supply-chain issues, specifically citing difficulties in sourcing components due to high demand from the AI sector. The company also noted that the bike's unique features, such as 240W USB-C charging and the DreamRide pedal-by-wire drivetrain, required additional testing and high-precision manufacturing.

The company maintains that production is underway and expects to fulfill orders in waves through early November. Additionally, some customers have reported discrepancies regarding the company's listed service partners, as local shops were unaware of their status as official providers.
