Alpitronic has expanded its commercial charging portfolio with the new Depot Dispenser, a compact unit tailored for electric bus and truck fleets. The device measures 600 by 400 by 250 mm and weighs up to 35 kg without cables. It supports flexible installation, including wall, pedestal, or ceiling mounting, with cable options ranging from 2.0 to 7.5 meters.

The dispenser utilizes a CCS connector and operates within a voltage range of 150 to 1,000 V. It supports a peak current of 400 A, allowing for a power output of up to 400 kW when used with vehicles operating near 1,000 V. The unit lacks a touchscreen, relying on an LED status indicator and RFID authentication, with optional card and QR code readers available.

The company also provided updates on its HYC1000 distributed charging system, introduced in 2025. The system features a Power Cabinet with eight 125 kW Power Stacks, delivering a total of one megawatt. Alpitronic has increased the efficiency rating of this cabinet to 98.2 percent, up from the previously stated 97.5 percent.

The new Depot Dispenser is scheduled for an initial launch in the European market, with plans to expand to other regions later. The product is designed to meet the specific operational needs of fleet depots by focusing on reliable and economical charging rather than maximizing power at every individual point.
