Alpine presented the A310 Vision design study at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The concept marks the 55th anniversary of the original A310 sports car, which debuted in 1971. The vehicle features a flat silhouette with a height of 1.18 metres and a rear width of 2.03 metres, incorporating design elements from both four-cylinder and V6 historical models.
The exterior design includes pop-up headlights, S-duct bonnet openings, and a split rear wing with blade-shaped lights for aerodynamics. Inside, the cockpit features organic seats and physical controls inspired by hi-fi technology. The manufacturer emphasizes that the project is a design study and there are no plans for series production of the A310.
The concept is built on the Alpine Performance Platform (APP), a modular aluminium architecture designed for electric sports cars. This platform allows for variable battery sizes and powertrain configurations while maintaining structural rigidity and weight distribution. The first production vehicle to utilize the APP will be the electric A110 model.
