Algorand Foundation is currently led by CEO Staci Warden. The organization has not appointed William Herkelrath, the current CEO of K3 Labs and former executive at Chainlink and Curv, to any role within the foundation.
The network is focusing on several strategic initiatives. This includes the re-establishment of its headquarters in Delaware and the expansion of its board of directors, which now includes Bill Barhydt.
The foundation is also developing a post-quantum security roadmap with a target date of late 2027. Additionally, the network is implementing the AC2 protocol designed specifically for AI agents.
