Alfa Romeo aims to reduce reliance on large touchscreens in future vehicle interiors, moving away from industry trends that prioritize digital displays over physical controls. Head of Product Daniele Chiari stated that the company intends to 'detox' its cabin designs to offer more distinctive experiences for drivers.

The Cuorerosso concept showcases this new design direction, featuring the Cannocchiale Vivente instrument cluster. This system consists of two separate displays that can physically shift to merge into a single unit. Additionally, the concept introduces the Magma Display, which is integrated directly into the center console and remains hidden when inactive.

The interior layout of the Cuorerosso also incorporates a rotary dial, a drive-mode selector, and physical toggle switches. While the concept itself will not enter production, Daniele Chiari confirmed that these design elements and technologies are planned for future Alfa Romeo models, with the upcoming Giulietta hatchback expected to be the first to adopt them.
