The Alfa Romeo Junior, initially introduced as the Milano in April 2024, was rebranded following legal concerns regarding its production location in Poland. The model is available in both an all-electric version, the Elettrica, and a mild-hybrid variant, the Ibrida.
In Australia, the Ibrida starts at AUD 45,900, while the Elettrica is priced from AUD 57,900. The hybrid model features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 107 kW and 230 Nm of torque.
The vehicle utilizes a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.9 seconds. It offers a cargo capacity of 415 liters and includes features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment display and various driver assistance systems.
Despite its design, the model faces criticism regarding the refinement of its powertrain and transmission performance at low speeds. The cabin includes physical climate controls and specific design elements like illuminated air vents, though some software and key detection issues were noted.
