Alfa Romeo is extending the lifecycle of the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV with a 2027 model year update. The vehicles now include an A-pillar mounted interior camera to comply with European Union safety regulations requiring driver-monitoring technology to detect fatigue and distraction.
The 2027 lineup retains its existing internal combustion engine options. European models feature a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine with 160 hp or 210 hp, while other markets offer a 280-hp 2.0-liter gasoline engine. The high-performance Quadrifoglio variants continue to use a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 520 hp.
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio now comes with 21-inch wheels as standard. The model range is restructured into Sprint, Veloce, and Edizione Luna Rossa trims, with Quadrifoglio versions featuring new black-and-white emblems and an Anodized Blue paint option. Buyers of Quadrifoglio models receive a one-day driving course.
Alfa Romeo has delayed the release of next-generation models, stating that replacements are not yet ready. The brand is evaluating multi-energy platforms that support hybrid and electric powertrains, but all-new versions are not expected before 2028.
