Akron Holding has completed the implementation of an SRM system based on the Bidzaar platform to unify procurement processes across its industrial and metallurgical business units. The project was executed in collaboration with the consulting firm Axenix and the vendor Bidzaar, following a start in the summer of 2025.

The system currently serves 30 enterprises across five divisions, including metallurgical, cable, and oilfield services. To date, 1,067 users have generated over 1,600 purchase requisitions. The implementation involved defining 267 functional requirements, with 221 successfully tested and deployed.

The technical infrastructure includes 24 integration streams connecting the SRM with existing ERP and MDM systems. The platform is also linked to the Bidzaar electronic trading marketplace, allowing staff to conduct auctions directly within the SRM and maintain centralized records of all procurement procedures.

Future development plans include expanding the system's functionality and integrating AI agents. The company intends to deploy a digital assistant for document preparation, budget assessment, and supplier selection, alongside automated performance metrics and predictive analytics for inventory management.
