Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Aito, a brand under Seres Group, has announced its official entry into the European market scheduled for autumn 2027. The company is currently working on meeting local regulatory standards and establishing service and distribution networks, though specific countries for the initial launch have not been disclosed.

At the Paris Motor Show, the brand showcased its current lineup, including the Aito 9, 8, 7, and 6 models. These vehicles are built on the Seres MF platform and utilize batteries from CATL. The flagship Aito 9 is a 5.23-meter SUV available in both battery-electric and range-extender configurations, while the other models cover the mid-size and large crossover segments.

The brand, founded in December 2021, has reported cumulative deliveries exceeding 1.2 million vehicles to date. While operations have been primarily focused on China, the company has recently begun international expansion with a launch in the United Arab Emirates.

To support its production goals, Seres is expanding its partnership with CATL through a factory-in-factory concept at the Seres Super Factory in Chongqing. A second construction phase is planned to add 10 to 12 GWh of annual capacity, aiming for a total combined output exceeding 20 GWh per year.

The first phase of the Chongqing battery facility was commissioned in June 2025, featuring two production lines utilizing Cell-to-Pack 2.0 technology. This integration of battery manufacturing and vehicle assembly is designed to optimize industrial processes and enhance cost competitiveness for the Aito brand.
