Aito, a brand developed by Huawei and Seres, announced its entry into the European market scheduled for autumn 2027. The company confirmed this timeline during a media event at the Paris Motor Show on October 12.
The manufacturer has initiated the EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval process, which is a mandatory step for selling vehicles in the region. At the Paris event, Aito showcased four SUV models under the international names Aito 6, 7, 8, and 9.
The company has not yet disclosed specific launch markets, pricing, or the final lineup for the European debut. This move follows the brand's recent expansion into the Middle East, where it partnered with Performance Plus Motors in February.
Seres previously entered the European market in June 2023 by delivering Seres 5 vehicles in Norway. Meanwhile, Huawei and Seres recently signed a five-year cooperation agreement on September 30 to deepen their partnership.
Under the current structure, Seres manages product operations, marketing, and service networks, while Huawei provides technical support. Aito remains part of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance and utilizes Huawei's ADS and HarmonyOS.
