Aistaland, a joint venture between GAC Group and Huawei, will launch its second vehicle, the GX7 SUV, on September 23. The five-seat extended-range model is designed to expand the brand's presence into the family SUV market following the release of its first model, the GT7, in June.

Pre-sales for the GX7 began on September 4, with prices ranging from ¥249 900 to ¥311 900. The company reported receiving over 20 000 pre-orders within the first 18 hours. Deliveries are scheduled to commence on the day of the official launch.

The vehicle is built on an architecture supporting Level 3 autonomous driving and features Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 system, which includes 4 LiDAR units and 38 perception sensors. The cabin is equipped with the HarmonySpace 6 system, dual 15.6-inch screens, and an 88-inch augmented-reality head-up display.

The GX7 offers three variants with extended-range powertrains, all utilizing batteries from CATL. The tri-motor all-wheel-drive version features an 800-volt platform, 550 kW peak power, and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. It supports 5C fast charging, reaching 30% to 80% capacity in 10 minutes.

The vehicle measures 5,099 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 3,070 mm. Its combined range is rated between 1,500 and 1,580 kilometers. Aistaland aims to improve its market performance with the GX7, as the brand's sales dropped to 1,100 units in August.
