The GX7 is available as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) in three variants. The rear-wheel-drive Ultra version is priced at 249,900 yuan, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive model costs 269,900 yuan and the triple-motor all-wheel-drive version is 311,900 yuan.
The SUV features Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 system, 4 LiDARs, and 38 sensing devices. It uses an 800-volt platform with 5C fast charging, allowing a 30% to 80% charge in under 10 minutes. Battery options include 52-kWh and 67-kWh units from CATL.
Aistaland, a joint venture between GAC Group and Huawei, aims to increase sales volume with this second model. The brand's first model, the GT7, saw sales drop from 2,658 units in July to 1,100 units in August.
