MTS Link platform data shows a significant increase in online business activity in the Kemerovo region from June to August. The number of online events held by residents of the region increased by 70% compared to the previous year.
Users in the region are adopting AI assistants more frequently. The use of an AI secretary during online meetings has grown nearly 10-fold, providing functions such as answering questions, recalling meeting discussions, and tracking tasks.
AI is also being used more often for summarizing meetings and emailing summaries to participants, with a frequency increase of 1.5 times. Additionally, the use of video effects like background blur, masks, avatars, and smart zoom has increased by 46% year-over-year.
The most active users of the platform in the Kemerovo region during the summer of 2026 were organizations from the education, industry, and medicine sectors. Companies in tourism, IT, and business services also showed increased activity in holding online meetings.
