The Autopilot automated liquidity management service on Aerodrome, powered by Mellow ALM, is ending its public operations. The service will cease public functions following the epoch on March 25, 2026, and transition into a private mode.

Liquidity providers must withdraw their deposits through the Autopilot interface by April 25, 2026. The platform utilizes a non-custodial design where positions are held via veNFTs, allowing users to maintain control of their assets throughout the process.

Historically, Autopilot managed approximately 50 million veAERO per epoch and facilitated over $2.5 million in rewards distribution. Mellow ALM has provided liquidity management tools for Aerodrome since 2024.

The closure aligns with the upcoming launch of Aero, a unified liquidity layer merging Aerodrome and Velodrome, scheduled for October 21, 2026. Aero will function as a cross-chain MetaDEX supporting seven EVM chains and will feature its own native automation suite.
