The new DF150 power supply unit from Advanced Energy delivers 160 W of power and provides 27 V at up to 6 A. The device features an efficiency rating of 91% at full load and maintains its nominal performance across a temperature range of -45 to 60 degrees Celsius without power derating.
The unit is built to withstand harsh environments, featuring an IP67-rated enclosure that protects against dust and water. It is certified to the MIL-STD-810H military standard for resistance to shock, vibration, and altitude changes, and meets MIL-STD-461G requirements for electromagnetic compatibility.
Advanced Energy offers two cooling configurations for the DF150: baseplate cooling for direct heat transfer to the host equipment or a heatsink-based natural convection system. The device exhibits a leakage current of 275 microamperes at 230 V and is designed for modular electronic subsystems.
As the first product in the Defiant Future line, the DF150 is targeted at defense, telecommunications, transportation, and energy sectors. The manufacturer provides various input cable configurations and housing options to facilitate integration into complex electronic systems.
