The Acer Swift Air 14 is a budget-focused laptop priced at $699.99, currently available at Best Buy in the United States. The device features an Intel Core 5 320 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB PCIe Gen 3 SSD. It is encased in an aluminum chassis and weighs 2.62 pounds.
A key feature of the laptop is its connectivity, which includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 10GBps USB Type-A port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The 14-inch display offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, covering 107% of the sRGB color gamut and 75.8% of the DCI-P3 space.
In performance testing, the laptop achieved a single-core score of 2,613 and a multi-core score of 7,977 on Geekbench 6. The device demonstrated significant battery efficiency, lasting 16 hours and 52 minutes during tests involving web browsing, video streaming, and light OpenGL tasks.
The laptop includes an infrared camera for Windows Hello facial recognition and a physical privacy shutter. However, the system comes pre-installed with various third-party software and utilities, which the manufacturer bundles alongside its own Acer-branded applications.
Acer plans to release three additional models exclusively in Canada, priced at CAD 999.99. While the US market currently offers only the sage green colorway, other regions have access to frost blue, blossom pink, and lilac purple variants.
