Acer has officially launched the Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld, which features the Intel Arc G3 Extreme APU. The device is now available for purchase at Best Buy with a starting price of $1,299.99.
The current configuration offered at Best Buy includes 24 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. This specific model was not previously listed on the company's product page, suggesting a strategic move to manage costs.
Earlier, the company updated its UK product page to allow user registrations, where the entry-level model was priced at £999.99. The official release window for the handheld is scheduled for this autumn.
The market launch follows the initial showcase of the device at Computex in June 2026. While initial speculation suggested a lower price point, the current retail data confirms the premium positioning of the hardware.
