Acer, Asus, and Lenovo are preparing to launch new Googlebook laptops, with a collective debut expected on September 21. Leaked renders reveal that all three models feature a distinctive colorful Glowbar light strip on the lid, designed to indicate battery and charging status.

The devices, internally codenamed Moonstone, include a dedicated physical Gemini key on the keyboard for AI access. The hardware is built on the Intel Panther Lake architecture, featuring Core Ultra 5 325 or Ultra 7 355 processors. Configurations offer 16GB to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB to 512GB of PCIe NVMe storage.

Display specifications include 14-inch OLED screens with 2.8K resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The laptops are equipped with a Titan C2 security chip, support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and feature a physical privacy shutter for the camera.

Physical dimensions for the units are approximately 341.1x236x16mm, with weights varying by model, including an Asus variant made of lightweight ceramic alloy weighing under 1kg. The Lenovo model includes a 70Wh battery with an official estimated battery life of up to 11 hours.
