The Academy of IT, part of the Softline Group, has launched a new training program titled Cyber Threat Analyst. The course is designed for SOC analysts, incident response specialists, and infrastructure engineers who possess fundamental knowledge of Linux administration, Python programming, and information security.
The curriculum spans 40 academic hours and is delivered remotely through a virtual classroom format. It consists of six modules that combine theoretical learning with practical exercises, such as deploying Threat Intelligence platforms and creating detection rules using YARA and Sigma.
Students will learn to integrate external threat data with internal corporate infrastructure events. The program covers OSINT methods, dark web monitoring, malware analysis, and the use of Python for security tasks. It also addresses the Russian regulatory landscape, including requirements for critical information infrastructure and data exchange with GosSOPKA and FinCERT.
Upon completion, participants receive a professional development certificate or a standard certificate, depending on their educational background. The course aims to teach specialists how to prioritize security resources and translate threat analysis into actionable defense measures for their organizations.
