Aave v4 launched its Equities Hub on the Base network on September 25, 2026. The platform allows users located outside the United States to deposit tokenized stocks issued by Coinbase and borrow USDC against them.
The total value of tokenized stocks held in the market reached $4.7 million, having doubled over the past week. Meta and Nvidia tokens account for half of these deposits. By October 1, total deposits hit $9 million.
The hub supports seven tokenized stocks. Users can combine different assets as collateral. The market operates in isolation from the broader Aave lending pools, with USDC as the only available borrowable asset.
LlamaRisk established initial collateral factors ranging from 65% to 79%. The protocol has an aggregate collateral cap of $29 million, a USDC supply cap of $32 million, and a borrow cap of $21 million.
Chainlink provides price feeds for the assets on a 24/5 schedule, while the Aave market operates 24/7. This creates a discrepancy during weekends when stock prices remain static on the platform.
