Aaeon has introduced the Up Xtreme PTL Edge Air, a mini PC featuring Intel Panther Lake processors, including the Core Ultra X7 358H, Ultra 7 356H, and Ultra 5 325. The device utilizes solid-state AirJet cooling technology, which allows it to operate at noise levels below 21 dBA.

The manufacturer claims the new cooling system makes the device 35% thinner and 43% lighter than models using traditional heatsinks and fans. The design eliminates fan-induced vibrations, making it suitable for industrial applications such as robotics, sensors, and medical equipment.

The system supports up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM at 7,200 MT/s and includes two M.2 2280 SSD slots. Connectivity options feature COM ports for RS-232/422/485, a 40-pin GPIO, and support for up to four simultaneous displays.

Adopting the AirJet cooler results in a 6% increase in power consumption and a restricted operating temperature range of -10°C to 45°C. The mini PC is compatible with Windows IoT Enterprise and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, though pricing remains undisclosed.
