The 2GIS mapping service has integrated a parcel delivery feature directly into its mobile application. Users can now access delivery options through the route planning interface, which aggregates offers from various logistics providers. The system displays pricing and estimated delivery times for both courier services and pickup points, allowing users to compare and select the most suitable option.
Upon selecting a service, the application redirects the user to the partner's platform to finalize the order. The system automatically transfers address data, eliminating the need for manual re-entry. Currently, the service supports three logistics partners: CDEK, Yandex Delivery, and versta.io. The company plans to expand this list of partners in the future.
The new functionality covers shipments within a user's city, as well as deliveries across Russia and to neighboring countries, including Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. The feature is currently available for all users of the 2GIS mobile application on both iOS and Android platforms.
