The British manufacturer 2Crsi Edge has introduced the Vision Guard VG-15MV-66, a surveillance camera platform equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor. This 14-core chip features a maximum clock speed of 4.9 GHz and integrated Intel Arc 130T graphics, providing computing power comparable to a mini PC.

The device is designed as an all-in-one edge AI surveillance platform for outdoor environments. It features an IP66-rated enclosure that integrates computing, networking, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. This eliminates the need for external cabinets, switches, or power distribution equipment during installation.

The system includes two external IP66-rated PoE RJ45 ports, which can provide power and network connectivity for up to three additional IP cameras. It is compatible with various fixed and PTZ camera models and can be mounted on infrastructure such as streetlights or utility poles.

The VG-15MV-66 utilizes a fanless, passively cooled design to ensure reliable operation in harsh conditions. It is built on an Intel Core Ultra NUC-class module, specifically intended for high-demand tasks like edge AI processing and video analytics.
